The Field Service Manager manages the installation and field service technicians who perform on-site services including installation, maintenance, repair, and replacement of wash system components as well as system commissioning. Oversees the resource planning and development of all field personnel. Develops methods, guidelines, and policies to facilitate timely service and support of InterClean customers. Additionally, the Field Service Manager ensure all customer issues are satisfactorily resolved utilizing engineering, operations, and other departments as needed. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from the field that require coordination with other departments. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the service portion of the InterClean business. Position will require field based and office-based work.


  • Manages a team of Installation and Field Service Technicians and ensures they meet company performance standards for performing on-site service work and remote customer support.
  • Supervise, support, and develop Installation and Field Service Technicians
  • Conduct resource planning of Field labor to ensure it effectively meets the needs of InterClean customers for installation, preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, and initial system commissioning.
  • Ensures Field team members are informed about changes to company products, policies, and procedures.
  • Supports the development and delivery of training on products, procedures, and processes
  • Define the equipment and service scope with customers.
  • Support Customer Service Representative in preparing and providing service/spare parts quotes to customers.
  • Provide professional customer service to both internal and external customers.
  • Participate in and/or supervise installation, start-up & commissioning of the equipment ensuring that InterClean Equipment workmanship and supplied equipment meet specified requirements and quality.
  • Perform testing and inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.
  • Defines and enforces Field labor reporting requirements to include: Documenting hours, site conditions, and work performed in accordance with InterClean Equipment SOP’s.
  • Defines department standard operating procedures.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline required.
  • 10+ years of Field Service work experience required in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
  • The work calls for sufficient comprehension of the vehicle wash systems to solve unusual as well as common work problems, to be able to advise on technical matters, and to serve as a resource on the subject for others in the organization.
  • Plumbing, Electrical, and Controls experience required.
  • Industrial Maintenance experience required.
  • Construction building experience required.
